Unfortunately, our u12 year end tournament was cancelled this past weekend due to an extreme shortage of umpires. We truly regret this and will be attempting to stage a year end for any of the u12 teams able to compete on the August 26-28 weekend.
Again, we apologize for this circumstance. As the season winds down and Provincials start to take focus, lets not forget that the Grand Valley year end playoffs are also around the corner for all teams. Here is the list of dates and locations, once schedules are created, we will do our best to get them on here.

Thank you for your patience. As June 1st hits and the Grand Valley 2016 turns a month old, we realize that our schedule and standings page still requires some work to get fully up and running. Please have some patience as we figure out the details. We hope to have a solution going soon.
Thank you Trevor Botting Many of our teams have started Grand Valley League play. We have a tonne of softball to play this spring and summer. We look forward to many great games, great plays, and great rivalries on the diamond.
Good luck to all our teams from Mite to Midget. For those centres hosting opening weekends May 13 - 15 thank you for stepping up to host these important kick-off events across Southern Ontario. We're now just a few weeks away from the start of the 2016 season. We are excited to welcome new centres Lucan, Byron and Mississauga South West into the GVLSA membership for the upcoming season.
May 13 - 15 is pegged as the opening weekend for all our divisions (except Bantam I). Thank you to the centres that are hosting these events. Schedules for all divisions will be posted to the site very soon. Our conveners are just working with the coaches to make sure everything looks right! Grand Valley Ladies Softball Association is proud to present a University information night with Ontario Intercollegiate Women's Fastpitch Association (OIWFA) president and one of the co-founders of the Canadian Collegiate Softball Association, Matt Allen.
Matt will discuss post-secondary options for female softball players not only in Ontario, but across the country. He will give an overview of the current landscape of intercollegiate softball in Canada, the format and structure of the OIWFA, scholarships and funding opportunities in Ontario, expectations of a student-athlete, and the benefits to female athletes staying in Canada to play softball. Grand Valley hopes to expand its ability to educate and promote the game of softball to its membership and this information night is a considerable step towards that goal. If you would like to attend (players and parents welcome), please email [email protected] to confirm attendance (I need to track numbers to make sure the room I booked is big enough.) This is open to u16 and u18 players who are beginning to consider their post-secondary options.
